Safety And Security
Safety and security of the students is of paramount importance to us. We take all preventive measure and ensure our utmost that no untoward incident or any undesirable/unethical situation occurs. The school management and staff remain alert and vigilant at all time to provide a safe, hygienic, conductive and secure environment to all the students in which they thrive and grow.
- 1. CCTV Cameras safety and security
- a) CCTV cameras as installed in all class rooms, staff rooms, laboratories, librabries, music /dance room, corridors,activity area, entry/disposal gates,. Office area and all the vulnerable and strategic locations of the school to ensure complete safety and security at the students and every one inside the premises.
- b.) Proper functioning of CCTV system is closely monitored regularly.
- 2. Fire Fighting Equipment
- a.) The firefighting system installed in the school is completely functional.
- b.) The availability of all materials i.e. sources of water and validity of Fire Extinguisher are periodically inspected and maintained.
- c.) A proper compliance certificate is issued to the school by the concerned department every three years which is standard statutory requirement.
- d. ) The school has a proper exit plan in case of an emergency or disaster which has been displayed in all corridors. Mock evacuation drills are conduced every week on regular basis for the students to be aware of the exist routes and the standard operation procedures.
- e.) Appropriate remedial course and workshop are periodically conducted to enable smooth evacuation and disaster management procedures in case of any untoward event.
- 3. Hygienic Drinking Water – An industrial grade reverse osmosis water system is installed which provided safe drinking water for the student’s. The system is regularly checked and maintained by competent personnel.
- 4.) Entry Pass – All visitors/parents entering the school are required to provide complete details about themselves, the purpose of their visit and the person they wish to meet. Their names are duly entered in the visitor register and on the visitor computer database, after which they issued a visitor/ parents entry pass which is duly signed by the concerned staff member and returned at the gate by the visitor/parents when leaving the school premises.
- 5.) Mobile Phones – In Compliance to the guidelines and instructions of the CBSE and Directorate of Education, all visitors/parents must deposit their Mobile phones at the school entry point.
- 6.) All parents and private van drivers should carry the school Identity card when visiting the school or picking up their wards.
- 7.) The School has taken the following preventive measures to ensure the safety and security of the students to avoid any untoward, unethical and undesirable incident.
